About RD Management, LLC

Doug Potter, the owner, has worked in the Arby’s system for over 30 years.  He began his career with Arby’s, Vineyard Village, in 1971 while still in high school in Louisville, Kentucky.  He joined RTM Restaurant Group, now known as Arby’s Restaurant Group (the largest Arby’s franchisee) in May of 1974 as a Training Manager. His responsibilities escalated from Area Supervisor in 1981 to President of RTM Atlantic Coast in 1992 with a total of 84 stores in 2001.  

The company was founded on a belief in Realizing Dreams.  Doug Potter, owner of RD Management, realized his dream on April 2, 2001 when he became the Arby’s franchisee in Myrtle Beach with 6 stores.

RD Management has opened three new stores in the last two years -- Arby’s at Gator Hole Plaza in North Myrtle Beach in October of 2004; rebuilt Arby’s (after a fire) at 2302 North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach in March of 2005 and our newest Arby’s in Murrells Inlet opened March of 2006.
